There is a way to memorize maps that is very simple. It involves using a highlighter on the main routes and then using another highlighter of a different color on secondary areas of the map. I suggest that you make a copy of this map beforehand so that you do not ruin your original map.

Now that you have highlighted the main and secondary routes on the map, you should try to connect the main routes to some sort of important landmark such as a park. Try to create an image in your mind's eye that represents this landmark and link that image to the name of a main route.
